I attended the school from 1980-1983 when Mrs Summer was the headmistress. I have such fond memories of my time there and if I was still living in Daventry there would be no other choice for my daughter.

Congrats to the staff for keeping such a wonderful school going !!!!

Ethan is about to go into year 1 which he was very apprehensive about. St james made a huge effort to ensure Ethan and all the other children will make a smooth and easy transition into the new school year and not be worried about thier new environment. He is now really looking forward to it though he will miss Lyndsey very much. Well done St james.

I attended St James Infant school 37 years ago. My memories of the school are good ones. I came across this site in Australia which is where I have lived for the past 35 years. I am so glad I came across it.

Thank you for giving Oscar such a fantastic 3 years at St James. He has really enjoyed himself. The school has such a lovely friendly feel and the staff make the children feel welcome. I think it's a shame that other schools don't have the high level of different facilities such as the gym and the Kaleidescope room available to them, as I know Oscar has enjoyed them both very much, and I think the Kaleidescope room could be very helpful as children grow.

I've recommended the school to others and look forward to bringing Archie there next year.

St James is a wonderful school. A really caring and welcoming atmosphere where both Toby and Lauren have felt relaxed and happy to learn. They have grown in confidence and Toby regained his great thirst for learning during his time at the school.
Thank you so much for all of the support.

My daughter Charlie is really enjoying her time at St James. I am really pleased to see the Christmas concert video. Have been able to share it with family members who couldn't come to the concert, so they can see what she's been involved in. Merry Christmas to all.

I was a pupil at St James from 1960 to 1963. Great to see you are doing so well. The head teacher back then was Miss Spinach, better known (to my dad at least) as Olive Oyl.
