Everdon Residential

Some children from Year 2 recently went on a residential trip to the Everdon Activity Centre.

We had a picnic in the woods, a Bear Hunt, a minibeast hunt, and we did some tree hugging!

After a lovely roast dinner back at the Centre, we went on a night walk, had some hot chocolate and bedtime stories, and then waited for the children to go to sleep… and waited… and waited!!

In the morning, the children were bright eyed and lively, even if the adults were not!

We had a chance to buy things from the Everdon shop, then we headed off to the nearby stream to do some stream dipping and to measure how fast the stream was flowing.

After lunch, it was time to go all too soon!

Thanks very much to the staff at Everdon, to Miss Harvey for sorting out all the arrangements, and most of all, to the parents for letting us all have such a lovely time!
