The Friends of St James Infant School is a fundraising charity, run by a committee of staff, parents and other volunteers, set up to raise money for the school to use for a variety of different purposes, to buy resources not covered by the School's annual budget, all of which directly enhance your child's time with us.

Examples of how money raised has been used include purchasing computers during the ICT suite refurbishment, digital cameras to be used in classroom activities, the new outside activity equipment run, dining tables, as well as specific items for each year group and the environmental and experiential classrooms.

Meetings are usually held termly, although may be more frequent when we are organising big events. You don't even have to join.  If you just wish to volunteer to help at events or if you have a great idea for helping to raise money just let us know.

For further information please contact Celine, the current Chair of the Committee, via the school office (01327) 702783
